Courses and Costs
As a novice you will start with a taster day. If you know the sport is for you then you will start with the 5 day Elementary Pilot course (EP). After you have completed your EP you can buy your own Hang-glider or Paraglider with our guidance. and move on to our Club pilot course (CP).
BHPA membership is compulsory when you learn to fly with us or any other schools or clubs affliated to the BHPA. The cost of the BHPA membership is included in the price of 1/2 day taster, however the other courses do not include BHPA membership. You MUST join the BHPA for £55 for a 3 months period or £92 for a 1 year period during your training. When you are qualified full annual membership is £77 per Year.The Five day Elementary course will be four days after taster day £340 Elementary and Club pilot course with Flight equipment £2999.00. How it works. At the start of your course you pay £2,999. At the EP level we give you the credit £2,200 to spend on flight equipment from our current range. You then undertake your CP course with your own flight equipment. Foreign Flying Holydays. As a Club pilot come with us on a mountain experience. The CP rating is not the end of it, if you want to fly cross country from cloud to cloud you will need to pass your Pilot rating. This can be done in the club enviroment or with us. Finally, once you have gained the required experience you can take the Advanced Pilot exam. The highest pilot rating and a level to aspire to! |
